When you fell onto your knees in front of me
I thought you had knelt in prayer.
I had no idea that you had died of a broken heart.
They tell me that a man promised you the earth and you sold your soul to him.
You let him prey on your belief and trust in his abilities.
Sometimes our minds scream in hoarse bellows that bleed of unrequited trust.
Our hearts swallow themselves in implosive self-searches when those that
Are meant to protect us rape us in the name of protection from outside forces.
We are made to be strong like electric pylons,
But sometimes the electric current can be so strong that it shuts us down.
Our silence condenses into heavy dark clouds that
Sit on our fragile shoulders like a shawl and fogs our vision for what should be.
I have seen giants rise and fall in my lifetime and I have also seen
Women command and army of kindness against evil men
That suck the life out of the good in people.
I am no giant and I claim no colossal stature but I
Know that I dream in a language that only giant gods understand.
I know that words are assegais that penetrate even the thickest of
Armour.
I know that when words are said with carelessness they are more potent than
The poison of a thousand snakes.
One thing to remember is that life has a life of its own.
Life is its own constant and doesn’t need anyone’s approval to be.
We are only a fraction of a flicker of an eyelash in eternity’s lifetime.
Love anchors us to the ocean floor of meaning.
Greed is the thief that bitters our trust in self-worth when pitted against
Prospering evil.
All I am and ever will be is a conduit of truth and love.
So take my hand, look into my eyes and trust that I want the best
For your fragile cotton wool heart.
So today, just today, forget that there is evil in this world.
Forget that there are vampires that want to feed on your mis-education.
Most of all, forget that the world is selfish to the point of being
Cirrhotic to its own citizens.
But please remember that YOU are nature’s way of
Making a difference. Stand up and be counted.

yes. and our shame swallows us instead of our pride lifting us, because society has said, your body is shameful.

That is so true. We need to re-remember that we are individually beautiful against societal prejudices and pressure.
